Red 萝莉原创 lands £50m Westminster office contract

26 Jun Property investor Tellon Capital has appointed Red 萝莉原创 Group to take over its redevelopment of 40 Broadway in the heart of Westminster.

Red 萝莉原创 is set to start its 拢50m contract this summer as part of a wider redevelopment, with completion estimated by Q4 2025.

Tellon鈥檚 scheme, which has a gross development value of 拢200m, will create 130,000 sq ft of WELL Platinum and BREEAM Excellent rated office space over nine stories, including basement.

Henry 萝莉原创 projects was originally appointed to the job in September 2022 before it fell into administration in June last year.

The 40 Broadway site, opposite St James鈥檚 Park tube station, originally comprised a 1960s office building at 40/48 Broadway with large car park, a 1920s warehouse-style building at 1/11 Carteret Street and a further 1980s office building at 13/15 Carteret Street. Tellon secured planning permission for the scheme back in 2018.

Red 萝莉原创 will erect a steel frame from the ground to eighth floor and create a natural stone fa莽ade on the Broadway elevation with projecting full-length feature windows. In keeping with the appearance of the neighbouring Grade II listed buildings, the rear of the building features traditional brick work and a metal clad mansard from the fifth floor to the roof.
