Based in the Midlands and offering a nationwide service, AFS specialise in Earthmoving works and Aggregates supply. We are a customer focused business and specialise in developing long term relationships with our customers, who benefit from our considerable expertise and experience and our innovative approach to business.

Earthmoving Services:

We are specialist Earth Moving Contractor who specialize in bulk Earthworks and are able to offer the removal of all spoil arisings, ranging from clean and inert material, to full hazardous waste and Japanese knotweed. We are fully licensed waste carriers and brokers and have access to a network of licensed disposal facilities available nationwide to accept any surplus material requiring disposal.

Wherever possible, we aim to assist our customers in maximising their recycling opportunities, in order to show best value from a cost perspective and to minimise the environmental impact of their commercial activities. We have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the sector, and can advise on all aspects of waste management including advising our clients on how to deal with a wide range of waste types and how to ensure that their disposals comply with current environmental legislation.

We have a large fleet of 8 wheeler tippers which are fitted with the latest efficiency and safety technology, including on board weighing capability, automated tailgates, auto sheets, reduced emission engines and full satellite productivity tracking.

We can tailor our service to the individual requirements of the client, from straightforward cart and tip with customer loading, to comprehensive bulk Earthworks packages utilising our own plant and machinery.

We also offer a grab loader service where no excavator loading is available or where access is restricted.

Aggregates:

Primary Aggregates

AFS offer a comprehensive range of quarried aggregates which can be delivered on a nationwide basis. We offer all types of primary crushed rock in both hard-stone and limestone, with a full range of certificated, quality assured products from capping and fill materials to single size and graded aggregates. We also offer a large range of sands and gravels.

Recycled Aggregates

AFS offer a comprehensive range of recycled aggregates. We have a broad product range including MOT Type 1, 6F5 capping, 10/20mm single size, 75-40mm clean, Fill sand and tarmac road planings.

These products are all available on a delivered basis or can be collected from our depot at Uttoxeter, Staffordshire or Drakelow Park, near Burton-on-Trent. We also have facilities available nationwide for the supply and delivery of quality recycled aggregates.

All of our recycled products are of the highest quality, fully certificated and produced to the WRAP protocol. We carry out regular testing to ensure the quality of our products.

Decorative Aggregates

We offer a full range of decorative aggregates, Topsoil, bark and other landscaping products. These are available on a delivered basis or can be collected from our Uttoxeter depot. These products are also available in bulk bags via our bagging division.

We also provide Rock Salt which can be delivered or collected loose, in bulk bags or 25kg bags.

All products are available on a delivered or collection basis, nationwide.
